Privacy Policy

We only collect what is needed to run WorkBalance:

• Account information: your email address and display name, collected when you sign up or log in via Supabase authentication.
• Daily check-in data: hours worked, meeting count, deep-work and admin hours, stress, energy and recovery levels (self-rated 1–10), whether you took breaks or worked after hours, and any optional notes you choose to write.
• Usage data: basic analytics such as page visits and session duration, collected by the hosting platform to help us understand how the app is used and improve performance.

Your data is used solely to provide WorkBalance to you:

• To calculate your weekly Sustainability Score and insights.
• To display your personal dashboard and check-in history.
• To send occasional transactional emails, such as a welcome message or account notifications.
• To diagnose technical issues and improve the app experience.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for profiling beyond the app's own features.

WorkBalance stores data through our hosting provider's backend service (Lovable Cloud / Supabase). Data is held in secure, encrypted databases with access restricted to authenticated users via Row-Level Security. Only you can read or modify your own check-ins and profile.

Email delivery is handled through the platform's integrated email provider. We only send emails you would reasonably expect (welcome, test, and transactional messages).

You remain in control of your data:

• You can view and edit your check-ins at any time inside the app.
• You can update your profile information in Settings.
• You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.

The app uses session cookies to keep you logged in. Basic usage analytics may rely on first-party or platform-level tracking to understand aggregate traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
