Get support

Some things deserve more than an app

WorkBalance offers gentle, self-guided support. It is not crisis care and it cannot assess your health or your safety. If any of the following fits your situation, please reach for real people.

If this is urgent

I’m really sorry you are carrying this. Aimlief cannot provide crisis support. If you might harm yourself or someone else, cannot keep yourself safe, or are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number now or go to the nearest emergency department. If you can, tell a trusted person what is happening and ask them to stay with you.

  • Emergency services in your country, for example 112 in the EU, 999 in the UK, 911 in the US.
  • A local crisis or suicide prevention line. The international directory at findahelpline.com lists free, confidential lines by country.
  • Your nearest emergency department, or a trusted person who can stay with you.

Professional support

Consider speaking with a doctor, psychologist, counsellor or other qualified professional. Persistent exhaustion, concentration changes, sleep disruption and emotional distress can have more than one cause and deserve appropriate assessment.

  • Your doctor or general practitioner, as a first step for physical and mental symptoms.
  • A psychologist, therapist or counsellor, especially for exhaustion that will not lift.
  • An employee assistance programme, if your workplace offers one. These are usually confidential and free.

Work and safety

If work involves harassment, discrimination, unsafe conditions or threats, consider obtaining advice from an appropriate workplace, union, legal or safety service. Aimlief cannot assess legal rights or immediate workplace danger.

  • Occupational health, a union representative or a health and safety officer.
  • A workplace ombudsman, labour authority or employment lawyer for rights and formal complaints.

What WorkBalance is, and is not

Aimlief provides general wellbeing education, reflective coaching prompts and self-guided practices. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any medical or psychological condition and is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Burnout-like symptoms can overlap with physical and mental health conditions. Seek professional advice if symptoms are severe, persistent, worsening or concerning.

Practices here are optional and can be stopped at any moment. Keep breathing comfortable. Never strain or continue if you feel dizzy, faint, short of breath or unwell. Return to normal breathing. Do not practise while driving or in water. Meditation does not feel calming for everyone. Keep your eyes open, move, orient to the room or stop if you feel more distressed, detached or unsafe. EFT tapping is offered as a self-guided wellbeing exercise, not medical or psychological treatment. Tap lightly, imagine tapping or stop at any time.

Nothing you write in WorkBalance is monitored by a person, so please do not use it to ask for help in an emergency.
